Dear Friends....

I am the Associate Pastor of Gateway Baptist Church. It is my honor to serve God in this great Church. The three areas I am in charge of is music, youth, and S.L.A.M.. I believe these three areas are vital areas of the church that can be a great blessing to the Church and our Lord. My goals in all three areas is to build ministries that honors and glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ.

In music we will do this by singing songs that speak to the soul and not entertain the flesh. In the youth department, we will do it by teaching the Word of God. We believe that young people still want to serve Jesus, it's just that not many churches are showing them how anymore. We still have plenty of activities, but we believe there is a time for fun and a time to worship. In S.L.A.M. we are given the oppurtunity to deal with young people all over the county. Our focus is to use basketball to reach the lives of people that we other wise wouldn't get the chance to. Every year we hand out Bibles, do devotions and speak to hundreds, while still having fun. Our goal is to say that nobody can say they leave the league without hearing something about Jesus Christ.

My purpose for being here is to serve you through Gateway Baptist Church.
