Games and Practices

Devotions will be held at all games and practices.
All games and practices will be conducted at the Gateway Baptist Church gym.
All games will be held on Saturday ONLY.
Equal playing time for every player.
All parents that want to coach are welcome. A coaches meeting will be held about three weeks after sign-ups.

Awards

An awards ceremony will be held at the end of the league. Awards will go to players with the best "Christ-like attitude", "Best defense", "Best offense", and the teams that have the best record.
Each child who plays in the league will receive a free Bible.

All Freshman league games (k) start at 11am

All JR. Varsity league games (1-2) start at noon

All Varsityleague games (3-6) start at 1pm

SLAM Season Is Here!

Welcome to the 6th season of S.L.A.M.. We are looking forward to another great year with the Kids, teaching them about Basketball and Jesus. One thing that cna make this year great for us and the kids, is help from all of you. Once again we will need team parents and coaches to help us out.

Right now we have a lot in the works, including the donation od new glass backboards. We are doing our best to receive them and have htem in place before the season starts, but it might not happen until the first of the year.

God willing we are expecting our largest group to sign up this year, and due to the fact that we are limited to gym space and playing time on Saturdays we will be accepting only 200 Kids. Please do not wait until the last moment to get your basketball star signed up.

We will also be having a special time at the awards ceremony to give thanks to all the ones who have played all five season's.

Picture day, horse tournament, spirit day, and NBA to be annonced at a later time.
